We love, love, love Doctor Harrington. He truly is “My Family Doctor!” The whole family - wife, son and myself - have been seeing him for years. He has a great bedside manner with kids - he is absolutely fantastic with our six year old. As an adult, you can expect genuine warmth and an experienced and highly regarded physician who will never “talk down” to you. He’s also been fantastic about squeezing us in for last minute appointments and has actually taken care of my son one time even after office hours. I cannot rave about him enough. Sometimes while driving by his office, my son will ask if we can just stop by to say hello!

This small doctor's office hidden away in West Seattle creates a feeling of being taken care of. Dr. Harrington is personable, and goes out of his way to be available. Dr. Harrington is a solo practice doctor who goes ABOVE AND BEYOND when it comes to his patients. Twice in recent months he offered to go in to his office on a Saturday to see me. In fact, the first time it was on a three day holiday weekend when I threw out my back. He takes his time and doesn't rush. He is very thorough and very thoughtful. I have never seen or heard of a better doctor. Almost every single doctor I have ever had could learn a lot from Dr. H and his bedside manner. – S.E.

Great place. Went here tonight for an ear infection b/c my regular doc's office couldn't fit me in today. Reception was very nice, office is very clean and nicely finished, the doctor was very nice and I got in and out fairly quick even though the waiting room was busy. - A.C.

Dr. Harrington is so great. I have had bad experiences with doctors in the past. I don't like going, I'd rather deal with the pain. But I was in almost unbearable pain from my shoulder hurting, and another urgent care clinic didn't help at all. Dr. Harrington was exactly what I love in a doctor. He was very approachable. Asked great questions. Owns the clinic and really takes an interest in you as a person. He took the time to explain EVERYTHING. And the why behind it all. LOVED it. So I'm one of "those " guys who NEVERS goes to the DR and have the worst anxiety about new dr offices. This office is FANTASTIC! The front desk lady Bee was so cheerful made me feel right at home. Office is old fashion has a very small waiting room. The exam room was clean and the nurse was friendly. I have an awful fear of needles and she got me in one shot! The Dr was worth the really long wait he had some kind of emergency. – R.L.

I just (as in 20 minutes ago) had the MOST amazing experience with Dr. Harrington! I had a nose bleed for two days straight and my regular doctor couldn't see me until tomorrow. I was trying to suffer through the misery, but when I started to get shaky, I decided to walk the half a block to his clinic. I could tell they were getting ready to close and was preparing to get turned away (which has happened to me at other urgent care facilities), but Colleen at the front desk took great care of me. She got me water and LOTS of tissues, she offered to help me fill out my paperwork and she listened as I explained the extra long version of what happened. Dr. Harrington saw me within TEN minutes of my arrival, which is unheard of at any clinic I have ever been to, even if I have had an appointment. Dr. Harrington asked good questions and really worked to understand what had happened. Then, he led me to the procedure room and cauterized both nostrils. Finally I had relief from the non-stop nose bleed!!!!! He wrote me a prescription for the underlying cause and gave me some samples of an ointment to use in my nose. Dr. Harrington even encouraged me to take my anti-anxiety medicine tonight to help me relax! What a thoughtful man. On top of everything, he asked me to come back for a follow-up tomorrow evening FREE of charge. I will venture to say that this was hands down the BEST experience I have ever seen with emergency medicine for me or any of my family members! What a wonderful feeling to know that good medical care is less than a block away. – C.W.

My family Doctor is this cute little family practice in west Seattle independently run by Dr. Terrill Harrington. What makes this place so great is the fact that the entire family may be seen here for all sorts of issues including dental. The doctors are caring and give you a warm family feeling. Doctor H is great with my children and Dr. Brun handles our dental needs. The office is very small but they take care of all our needs! They can squeeze you in for an appointment same day, the doctors return phone calls promptly, and they have a friendly staff! Couldn't ask for more! – S.L.

Dr. Harrington is the perfect combination of knowledge, common sense and approachability. He has been our family Doctor for about 6 years now and not only has he quickly and efficiently remedied any problems, he has saved us thousands of dollars in healthcare costs. Getting appointments is easy, especially for emergent issues - his evening office hours are very convenient. (I almost didn't write this review for fear of him becoming too popular - but by the way I see him doing the laundry late at night or working on the building on the weekends I know he will rise to that occasion!). – C.L.

We were dealing with a second-degree burn that happened after 5pm, meaning every urgent care clinic in our immediate area was closed. I didn't want to wait hours at the ER, so I found Dr. Harrington online and decided to risk it. Excellent decision, as it turns out! The receptionist was lovely and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We filled out paperwork and were taken back immediately, and had to wait all of five minutes before Dr. Harrington came in. He was friendly and knowledgeable and we were on our way with the necessary prescriptions. So much cheaper, easier, faster and friendlier than an ER trip! – E.G.

Went in with an ear infection, and though it took a couple of appointments for the right antibiotic combo, I was informed by the doctor and his staff that I would not be charged for the extra visit, was given plenty of samples to help offset the cost, and Dr Harrington was more than willing to talk over the phone and write the prescription I needed. He and his staff went to great lengths to be as helpful as possible. This is a great place to go, especially if you don't have insurance. - A.Z.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Harrington for about 3 years. Our son was born a couple of weeks back and so we were in a position to decide if we would continue with him. It was an easy decision as we’ve felt that personal connection and have been more than satisfied with the level of care and attention to detail that we’ve received. Over four years ago, my husband and I randomly picked Dr. Harrington from a list of docs; we have since had many occasions to be grateful for our luck! After the birth of our son I suffered from complications and Dr. H actually came by the house to check on me. A couple of years later, we asked Dr. H to assist with the birth of our daughter. His office has always been able to get my family in for urgent care (once late at night for a violent allergic reaction) and are friendly and professional.
